Canola fields, canyon, river, & more rolling hills

... by the time we got to the top of the butte, it was past 8pm. When the sun was too low, the light did not seem to have the kind of effect I was looking for on the rolling hills. I did not get the shots I wanted. Will have to try again tomorrow.

Back to the motel after another visit to the grocery store for frozen dinners. By the time we ate, it was 10pm. Now I am debating if we should go for the sunrise tomorrow .... If we do, it'll be the Steptoe Butte again.

Beyers - Moscow Idaho is a small town with the bulk of its population made up by the local university. When we were there it was outside of term time so the place pretty much looked like a ghost town. We went for a drive around the university campus then parked up in Downtown and had a look through the shops. Lisa saw a cool sports bar so we decided to go in check it out have a burger and maybe a game or two of pool. It was so dark in there we had to ask if they were ...

We woke up early and had a nice hearty breakfast ( free breakfast at Best Western). Looking over maps of the area, we planned our introduction ride in the countryside. We decided to head over to a small town called Palouse with photo stops along the way. We traveled south through the town of Colfax being careful not to blink or we would miss it to check out possible places to eat for dinner. It is a small town settled ...

Well dad and I finally made it home. It was a great trip and I had lots of fun, met some new friends and got to see a lot of cool things. I can't wait to do it again. I love sleeping in a tent. Hopefully dad and I can do some backpacking in Lassen Volcanic National Park this summer. I better go, dad says after ten days I need to take a ...

Got news today (Nov. 1st) that I will be going to India alone! Unfortunately, my travel companion,
Jarma wasn’t able to get her visa back in time! We are so bummed and feel sick about the whole thing but there is little you can do about the situation. So tomorrow I ...
