          ... literally dozens of cheese-makers. All the produce was freshly-picked, picture-perfect, and very appealing.

          We also visited Monona Terrace, a community/ conference centre designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1938, but only built in 1992. With a beautiful design based on the sphere, it is quite striking, and offers a rooftop garden overlooking Lake Monona. Finally, the capitol building, itself, is modeled on the one in Washington ...

          ... the touristy stuff-sight seeing, zip lining, checking out the beaches...and the second week is the family stay where I get to live with a Tica! (Thats what they call Costa Rican families) Ill try to post as frequently as possible! Oh warning: Im not taking my computer so I won't be able to upload pictures from my camera, but Ill take some good ones on my phone and post those. And then when I return, I will add the ones from my camera!

          ... leaner pork on the track. Apparently one of the must do things at the Wisconsin State Fair is try a cream puff which at $4 seemed pretty expensive and the line was very long. After queueing for a good 20 minutes, we were handed these incredibly large puffs which had a whole bag of whipped cream in it. Steffie and I shared one while Thomas tackled one on his own. Stupendous!
