I had a medianoche (pretty much roast pork, ham, melted swiss cheese on a yummy soft roll) Chris had a hamburger...so much for trying something Cuban for him. We all had Cuban coffees afterward which I am pretty sure will keep me caffeinated for the next 3 days.
Today we attempted a sleep in but we were rudely awoken by the workers renovating the room next door. Drills, loud Spanish chit-chat – the works. So on to the final installment of this blog, Miami. The cheapest route home and the best place to get some last minute sun. ... hr /> Yes, in some ways Florida reminds me of San Diego... gray and cloudy... with a good chance of rain ;-) for those who weren't there... when I was in San Diego a couple of years ago - we had the same kind of weather :-( so I enjoyed more of an indoor day... ;-) Then I wanted to use the internet for a bit... and of course... they had problems and I couldn't! ... auch wenn ich nicht alle Wörter verstehe, vom Dialekt her sind sie - auch im TV - deutlich einfacher zu verstehen als die Chilenen :-) Ansonsten war ich ein bisschen shoppen & Kaffee trinken :-) muss mich schliesslich erholen, so dass meine Energiespeicher voll sind und ich mit Isa in Bolivien & Peru mithalten kann ;-) ...und habe die ersten Florida Fotos ...
