    Well it's bigger than the thinkery and we could have spent 4 hours in there easily. We really enjoyed it and definitely felt like it was a great stop. We could not get lunch there so we grabbed pizza at Dions. Great stop to stretch our legs now we drive another 7.5 ...

    ... roads are pretty, we took smaller highways and drove through small towns, I really like Texas, the people are also quite lovely - it was a beautiful drive! We eventually made it to Lubbock at 9, only to find out that they didn't have our reservation! The girl told me to ring booking.com, which wouldn't be been fine but none their phones let you ring a payable line and my mobile has no signal, in fact Lubbock so far has been a pit that mobile signal ...

    After breakfast we headed downtown to the Buddy Holley Center where there were some caches associated with the Event. Took some pictures and went across the street to Buddy Holley Plaza where is bronze statue is located. More pics. We than went to the cemetery where he was buried. This was a Virtual Cache where there is no log to sign but it asks you a question you can only answer ...

    We took the dogs on a long walk this morning and than headed out to do some geocaching. We went to the Lubbock Lake Landmark, an important archeological site and natural history preserve. There is active digging and a new building highlighting their finds at the site. We found several caches there and enjoyed a long walk around the grounds through a prairie dog ...
