Orlando day 1

Today was planned as a rest day, so we slept in, had a swim, and a big home cooked breakfast. This took us until mid day! The afternoon was more swimming - in the rain as another big lightening storm passed over us, DVDs and the odd snooze. By late afternoon we were restless again so we found a Mall on google maps, punched in the zip code to the sat Nav and headed off to The Florida Mall. Mike went straight for a ...

Woke up on the floor again, boy did I ache this time. Straight out on the balcony to get the sunrise as our room was facing east. The maintenance crew works around the clock to fix the ...

We walked into the park hearing some guys singing Feliz Navidad. We didn't stick around long enough to find out who. We had a date at Gaston's Tavern. We shared a pork shank and a glass of Lefew's brew. It's frozen apple juice with a hint of marshmallow. The "foam" ...

Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

... safely arriving back on dry land, it is now lunch time. We opt for eating at the Norway bakery, which is another of our must-do's for lunch at least once per trip. We each ordered a turkey club on multigrain bread. Courtney and I had a yummy rum cake with crunchy meringue topping. Nancy had a cream puff with fresh berries. Their artisan bottled water which is called Voss, is very refreshing. Yes, it is only water, but has a distinct taste with ...
