Another really hot day. We were going to swim in the pool BUT IT'S HEATED! Are they mental? How hot do these people need to be? Thought about swimming in the ocean but it's a really long way across the hot sand - it would take at least 5 minutes. And we have ocean at home. Went to breakfast and most people were sitting out on the deck in the heat. We sat inside in the air con. Breakfast wasn't free but it was very nice. So many ...

... know how. Would not be a great place to stay I wouldn't think as it the main area of Long Beach is not accessible by foot. A beautiful back drop to the city but not somewhere to stay. So we headed back to the hotel and. Decided to settle in the lobby bar for a drink and cheese plate. Good choice. Very nice way to await sunset. We packed up this afternoon as we have an early start tomorrow, getting picked up for the drive up to ...

... with them, and we then shot some test footage with them. It was really fun. That pretty much covered the time there and, since on Thursdays we only work till 2:00pm, we headed back for our Skype meeting every Thursday at 4:00pm with John and Kathy, our professors at Taylor. After the Skype meeting, we headed to Bel Air Presbyterian for our class at 6:00. We cut it close by stopping at McDonalds for dinner, but we made it just in time to hear the lecture from ...

It was a nice change getting back to an english speaking country and drinking tap water again. Went to sea world in San Diego, the whale show is very strange. I don't remember it being that weird when we saw it last time. The trainers hardly say anything and they just get the whales to jump around for 20 minutes and that was it. I thought they would say some whale facts at least. And we had ...
