It was unusual for me to hear a dog barking in a nearby room. Hotel was otherwise of a reasonable standard and clean.

... a wild pitch. “Closer” proceeds to load the bases on two walks (threw a strike to the first of these batters, then 8 straight balls). He then walks in the run with another four-pitch walk. Crowd cheers appreciatively at the little comic relief at the end of a long and painful game. I admit to coming out into the “wilderness,”1.7 miles from Kingsport, armed with phone, computer (from which I am obviously writing) portable wifi hotspot (by which means I will post this blog entry), and iPad, on which I will keep score at the baseball game, but I charged all mine up before I left home, and, should additional charging be necessary, I’ll ...

We spent the rest of the night trying to workout how to use Apple TV and connect it to my laptop in order to go through the wedding photos that neither Cheryl or Grandma had seen yet. However we had no luck, and it was now 11pm so time to head up and pack our things up a little to prepare for us leaving tomorrow ...

The sun shining in through our blinds woke us up fairly early around 7am, so we decided to get up and start our day. We went down and had coffee and cereal, before Dave popped his head out also. We are getting used to be the first ones up now. We had a fairly quiet morning as Kyle being a university student doesn't rise from bed until noon, and Cheryl enjoys sleeping in and wasn’t up until 10am.

A slow start to our day, but ...
