    ... hills were covered with creeping vines that make the hillside look like it has giant plant monsters coming up out of the ground. It is really cool looking, and concerning at the same time as the plant takes over and suffocates all other vegetation. it would be great if you cook cook it and serve it up with butter or feed it to animals.

    ... adventures from trains, planes and automobiles! We plan on saying hi to the Pope, peer into the crater of an active volcano, sunbathe on the beaches of the Ionian Sea, marvel at the ruins of Pompeii, and eats lots of seafood and pizza. I may even have a glass of wine or two!

    ... looked at my right foot, it is swelled and bruised across the top.....not sure what went south....but it will not keep me from hiking. Will worry about this later, maybe 75 miles, when Damascus arrives. The group headed to town for a bite to eat. I had a 1 pound beef burger, with bacon/ham/lettuce, onions, and onion rings on it.......was great, was truly stuffed!     ... only the 2nd time in six years - and I was just too cold and ****** to pump more water - with the broken pump, until daybreak. If I would have pumped water, my body would not have gave me the issues. I knew better, but no real harm -no foul! After day break, I was treated to an awesome sunrise! - then more hills.... not big hills, but to water-lacking body - felt like Everest! By the last hill, I actually tossed my polls and pack down.....cussed ...
