... around the town which is adorable. They have the headquarters for the Texas Independence Trail in Belville. This was for the civil war between Mexico and Texas to liberate Texas, there are lots of stops on the trail. It has two traffic lights in the whole town. Our taxi departed Aspen Square Hotel at 6:30 p.m. We took a bizarre route zigzagging through the city. There are piles of garbage all along the streets. Did the rubbish collectors go on strike? At 7:06, more than half an hour after leaving, we were stuck in traffic on a narrow cobblestone street: Bacacay at San Nicolas. There's only one traffic lane and two parking lanes. Is this really the fastest way to the airport? I’m getting seriously impatient.
