Long day! Worked from home and cleaned up around the house so it was all organized for Randall. The headed to the airport was thru security in less than 30 mins. It was crazy fast. Then sat down to continue working and then to do some people watching.... That was fun! You see all sorts of things at the airport. Shaloma was so tired ... 2 hours of sleep. Not sure how she does it. We ended up sitting by each other on the plane as we each had a empty seat and a couple boarded and there ...

Houston, we're not Kennedy Space Center

Our main reason for being in Houston was to visit the Johnson Space Center (JSC). We arrived at 10am and got a spot right by the entrance, because there were not many people there. We immediately jumped on the site tour. First stop was the actual ground control center used for the 60s to 80s rocket launches. The current ground control center is one floor down. Second stop on the tour was a building where they are developing vehicles and ...

Another drive today, this time to Seabrook which is 20 minutes south of Houston. It was a 4 hour drive and we were surprised by the amount of greenery and trees around during the drive. We expected more sparse areas, desert and brown. The drive took us right through Houston, and it got a little hairy driving through it because of some crazy drivers. Fortunately ...

... thing is that I figured it out. Baggage claim, security check, and boarding the plane followed. But at last, my plane to Texas took off on time and landed safely in Houston 3 hours later. The IAH airport is HUGE! Oh my goodness! When I got off the plane I looked for where I would have to board my next flight. I was in section B. My next flight was in section E. I got lost looking for the sign to point me in the direction of E. Eventually I found it. The sign I ...

... other day. We skyped mum as we had really good wifi here. She had Georgie at home and they were all loving being together. She had cleaned the house and was loving up the girls today, she made $1000 from the garage sale on the weekend too. We were given a free ticket for a drink downstairs in the hotel each. So we had two Lawnmower beers, which I likened to a draught at home and obviously loved. We then waited for the rain to stop and went to Bubba Gump on the Pleasure pier ...
