... been there to encourage me. I have always been a home body. I never went away to camp, I never wanted to be away from my mom, from my home, from my dog. But at 25, the time felt right for me to go off and have my big adventure. In an example of capitalism’s vultures I read ...

When he passed away, my mom's Uncle Joe told her that her grandfather loved receiving those messages and he had even sat down at the typewriter to begin typing a letter back to her. He never finished it. My mom never received it. I wonder what that letter said.

We went to eat down at the food court for dinner because we had coupons, and now here we are. Tomorrow, antiquing and the lake...the beginning of our journey ...

Early up and out of the Port Glasgow RV Park to start our trip back into the US of A. We made short work of the drive to Windsor and headed directly to the duty free store to redeem our small amount of Canadian money. Maple syrup and cookies for our hosts, my niece Kelly and her family, were selected after ogling the huge display of liquor, beer, perfumes, jewelry and tourist items that are stocked in the store.
