Ready or Not, It's Time to Go

A travel blog entry by emily.doerner on Jan 17, 2015

There is a lot of preparation that goes into traveling. There are visas to apply for, plane tickets to buy, SIM cards to switch, clothes to buy, books to read, and people to consult. There are finances to be dealt with and money to be exchanged. There is packing to be done, and re-packing when you realize that your entire closet will not fit in a backpack. There are goodbyes to be said and new acquaints to be made. But ...

Our first ovenight stop was at Sheridan, WY - a rustic western town with a
large historic downtown. It is touted as one of Americas "Top 12
    Distinctive Destinations."

Apparently, the drive from Sheridan to Denver
is quite scenic but we didn't see it because of the drizzle, rain, snow pellets, rain and fog
along the way. It was equally as lousy
in Denver for the next two ...
