... window shopping. I was remembering last year when we enjoyed the chalk festival and decided I like when there is no traffic on Larimer! Soon we had made the walk down and back up and headed over to 16th Street. We walked down the street just enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown. We stopped at The Corner Bakery Cafe and several of us got a snack. We sat outside on a small retainer wall. The lemon bars were great! ...

... you can look down into a big valley. It was approaching dusk so the sun wasn't as bright but it was still a beautiful lookout. We didn't make any other stops. We did a quick drive through the parking lot near Sheeps Lake but didn't see any sheep and noticed the count on the sign said zero for the last few days. So, we continued on our way. Badlands National Park - This is one of my favorite national parks. The mountains are very impressive. But you know those are going to be impressive even before going there. I have never heard much about the Badlands. While you are driving through South Dakota, there is nothing to see. But when you come to the Badlands you drive in and are just amazed as to see the beauty that God has put into the earth.
