      Saying Goodbye to Tennessee

I had bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast which was free from the hotel. I am sad to see Tennessee in my rearview mirror but I am headed to Atlanta. I drove through the mountains and then stopped for lunch at Chipotle for $9.30. I only ate half and will finish the rest for dinner. I stopped for gas in Atlanta at Chevron for $36.90.

That’s not all I intend this to be about, by the way, but that’s the propeller, the motivator, the dog nipping at my heels. I think I want there to be other things here, maybe small writing pieces, thoughts on what I’m reading, etc. I don’t know, I’m just going to run with it.

We're ready to go, but the weather isn't cooperating... Severe thunderstorms have delayed our long anticipated return to Italy by almost 2 hours. The scheduled 9.5 hour trip has turned into 11+ hours and pushed our arrival back to about 9am tomorrow. Despite the delay, we're excited about what lies ahead.

As mentioned in the blog intro, our ...

... her husband) and Katie's mom (their daily babysitter). So visits weren't always super fun... especially since they would start screaming bloody murder the second you came near. As luck would have it, they have outgrown that stage and took to me rather quickly. I colored, did puzzles and danced more than I ever have in my 33 years... they are at such a FUN age... I had a blast with my two lovely girls!

Katie and Rich moved into their house about 6 or 7 months ...
