I had bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast which was free from the hotel. I am sad to see Tennessee in my rearview mirror but I am headed to Atlanta. I drove through the mountains and then stopped for lunch at Chipotle for $9.30. I only ate half and will finish the rest for dinner. I stopped for gas in Atlanta at Chevron for $36.90.

We're ready to go, but the weather isn't cooperating... Severe thunderstorms have delayed our long anticipated return to Italy by almost 2 hours. The scheduled 9.5 hour trip has turned into 11+ hours and pushed our arrival back to about 9am tomorrow. Despite the delay, we're excited about what lies ahead.
