I am all ready and am now waiting for the shuttle to take me to the airport. My flight is at 2:35 PM to JFK where I will have a 5 hour layover, arriving in Cairo at 4:45 PM local time. I estimate from the time I leave home to check in at the hotel in Cairo will be about 26 hours.

We stopped at the Winn Dixie on the way there to get some lunch which was 2 lbs of steamed shrimp in old bay seasoning for about $16 total where we took it back to the condo and ate while watching the ocean come to the beach from the condo. Of course, being a scuba diver I had to go into the water and found some amazing fish near some dead coral [rocks now] that included ...
Yep. That pretty much explains it all. Mostly hung out and cooked some good food. Well, Josh did dinner for two of the three nights we were there. Stir fry the first night and then we had this awesome chicken dish that is made with sour cream and Italian dressing. It was delicious. Definitely went to the beach a ...

We met Todd for lunch at Steak & Shake, an upmarket McDonalds, with waiter service and really fancy milkshakes.
This evening was our last with our host Jay who is flying to New York with his family for the weekend to catch up with his brother who is living up there at the moment.

The museum was interseting but not the revelation we saw at Crazy Horse in South Dakota a couple of years ago. There is a nature walk which includes an original village which we missed because of a rain storm mores the pity, that could have improved our impression perhaps.
We had a quick look at another local attraction the Swamp Safari, but we had done the Air Boat ride and ...
... Adam Brown at his house in Miami. It was lovely to hang out in his pool for the evening and watch the most spectacular storm. The following day we made our way to West Palm Beach which was beautiful!! The sand was so golden, although it was just too hot to do any sunbathing!...And i have to say the 'transvestite' show was something of a spectical!

We were very warming welcomed by Mitch's mom. After dropping off our stuff, we went to the best seafood restaurant I have ever been to (no joke). Everyone got very different dishes (Tuna, Grouper, Hog Fish and crab cake), all of which were incredibly delicious. Then came dessert, again all were amazing. If this is how we will eat the entire trip, I am ...
We wake early to be the first ones at the fuel dock. It can take an hour or more to will the fuel tanks, even with high speed fuel pumps. I am up at 6:30 making coffee and typing the web log for yesterday. The docks open at 8:00. The mystery "free" WiFi network appears and I was able to check the weather for our crossing to West Palm Beach. The "Barometer BoB" web site says it will be an easy crossing with waves 2 feet or less, and the NOAA web site says 2-4 feet. We ...

The Waterway Guide states: "Weather can change suddenly and strong winds from any quadrant will make the crossing unpleasant, but northerly winds can be downright dangerous. Never cross in even moderate northwest, north or northeast winds. They can turn the Stream's long easy swells into a maelstrom." Since West End is almost due east of West Palm, east winds also make for very ...
