I am all ready and am now waiting for the shuttle to take me to the airport. My flight is at 2:35 PM to JFK where I will have a 5 hour layover, arriving in Cairo at 4:45 PM local time. I estimate from the time I leave home to check in at the hotel in Cairo will be about 26 hours.

We wake early to be the first ones at the fuel dock. It can take an hour or more to will the fuel tanks, even with high speed fuel pumps.
