Drove over to the Riverfront in Shreveport and checked it out. Really nice area. Four or five casinos. Went and ate lunch at Bodacious Bar-B-Q in Bossier City. It was awesome. We had pulled pork sandwiches and peach cobble!
Went back to Louisiana Downs to catch some horse races, but they were already over. They have quarter horse racing in the winter.

... in Monroe, La. At Duck Commander again. Angie met one of the Robertson family but didn't know who he was. She took a pic with him anyway. She asked the guy at the checkout who he was. He told her he was a cousin of Corey, Willie's wife. She was excited anyway.
We then went and ate at the new restaurant, Willie's Duck Diner. Paid 10 bucks for Angie's bologna sandwich. I had another roster beef Po Boy. With fried okra.

... left to eat in my pack is ramen noodles and half a snickers. Although there will be some moments on the trail that seem miserable at the time I look forward to them. Those tough times will make the good ones feel that much better. After all, if it was easy everyone would do it.
I leave for Georgia in 16 days and I am getting more and more excited every day.
