We left Crater of Diamonds SP and headed south back to the Gulf coast and New Orleans. After looking at the map, we decided we should have gone to New Orleans first, then north to AR. A lttle too late then.

The rv park we stayed in was a convenient, neat park with the best stocked rv supply store we had ever been in durng all our travels.

... 8221; was filmed. It was off the beaten path, but we took a drive through. It is a great little town along the river that dates back to the early 1700's. Not far from Natchitoches there were several plantations that had been restored and are open to the public. We were able to go to Melrose Plantation. I felt a heavy sadness there.

I drove on to Shreveport Monday afternoon because play here will be early Tuesday morning.

6:15 AM !!!!

I figured if they play that early, they must really enjoy the game. And they do!

Very welcoming group of dedicated players. Although time was a little short, we had some great games.
