Sur la plage
Nous n'avons pas été chanceux aujourd'hui dans notre recherche de camping. On réussi à en trouver un près de l'eau et presque rendus, nous voyons un VR installé directement sur la plage. Nous passons donc la nuit sur la plage! Beaucoup de vent mais ...
Ouf! il fait chaud
En partant de San Antonio, nous arrêtons à Corpus Christi et après une visite au visitor center nous décidons de camper sur l'ile Padre Island. Le camping est dans un state park et sur le bord de la mer. C'est très tranquille et la plage est déserte même s'il fait plus de 35 degrés, 44 humidex!. Nous restons 3 jours.Nous devons utiliser l'air climatisé pour réussir à dormir! Pardon d'être arrogante!

On the Beach
... note: Texans like to show tribute to individuals and groups who have earned their respect and appreciation. There are many memorials and dedications along the highways and byways. There is a strong sense of pride in being a Texan and being an American that shines strongly here.
PS: The restrooms/showers at this park were ghastly. The city needs to step up and totally remodel them. John braved the shower, but I stayed in our little RV.

To Hell and Back Again
The day started off hectic as hell. Up at 6am and off to catch the shuttle at the Holiday Inn Express. Got there 5 minutes before the time they told me to arrive, and the shuttle pulled up just as I was unloading. We awoke this morning to cloudy skies and a bit more wind than yesterday. It is actually the wind that makes life bearable in this area.
