      ... really were slow getting things done and that made it boring. Walked to the car for water and on the way met Carl Dobroski, a 21 year old walking from Philadelphia to San Diego. A very bright, attractive and nice guy. We really enjoyed our talk with him and hope to get in touch later. Back to main street for a while before heading home.       ... I did the shopping. Bank, Pharmacy, groceries and Home Depot where I found the white gravel in bags, but reasonably priced so have 6 bags now.
