    Another drive today, this time to Seabrook which is 20 minutes south of Houston. It was a 4 hour drive and we were surprised by the amount of greenery and trees around during the drive.     ... a good sized bird flying nearby and tried to figure out what it was. Kinda looked like a pelican, but was too small and had no pouch. There were quite a few of these birds pacing the ship along with the seagulls. There were so many cargo ships (I counted 19 within sight at one time) and even the Colonel, a paddlewheel that passed VERY close to us.

    Morning: 19 C (sunny with clouds) Afternoon: 25 C (overcast with rain) Up and out at the usual time of 9:30 AM. We headed over to the Armand Bayou Nature Center. But first to cover a story...
