When we got to Fredericksburg, Texas, we were in the so-called "hill country" area. I still have a hard time understanding their use of the word, "hill", as I have seen nothing that could be considered a hill back home. There is, however, some undulation in the topography which gives some interest to the landscape. Also, there are trees and foliage that make the country more interesting.
