... Capital. We drove through the breadbasket of Montana. It is the old Blackfeet Territory. It was spectacular. It was also part of the Lewis and Clark Trail. It was well worth the drive on the backroads to see the local communities. As we got closer to dark, we decided to head to Great Falls, MT for the night. We treated ourselves to McD. We are staying at a local RV park. Last spot… the state fair and rodeo are in town. Yippee ...

My final adventure today was to visit the actual Great Falls, which are located maybe 10 miles downstream from the city. The road out there seems like the Road To Nowhere – it was ...

... We would have made it to St. Mary's Lodge in Glacier but 2 hours out the engine light came on. This was the start to our fun filled night.

We had to detour 65 miles east to Great Falls, MT since the past two hours the only town we saw had one liquor store and one has station. We arrive at an auto zone around 8:00 PM MST. The diagnostic told us the transmission was slipping. Joe checked the fluid and it was WAY over full. We had the ...
