    ... shop and say how much you want - being a hire car and the first fill up we had no idea so we opted for $40. Then you have to go back to the car as they don't take debit cards, only credit cards. Then they swipe the card and you sign the paper ...remember those days? Then you only put $30 worth in so you have to go back and get a refund! Easy peasy! Then you get back to your motel room and open the Californian wine you just bought and take a big sip!     I was glad to have the GPS because I cut across California from Santa Cruz to Fresno just like I knew what I was doing. I stopped at Casa De Fruita and got some things for the Haley and Michigan people. It is a tradition to go to the Casa so we know where we are and when we will arrive!
