    ... inside the park,
peaceful and the giant Redwoods are amazing. General Sherman in the
largest (by volume) tree in the world. There are wider and taller
trees but the size if Sherman is immense. Trying to take a photo of
the full height means you need to go a long way away and when you
look at someone standing next to the tree, they look like an ant.

The trip to Fresno was not the most enjoyable. I guess that is the joy of non revving with flights. It took 4 flights to get here and nearly 27 hours. ... hissy fit.

Why Fresno ? ! Well it was close to the entrances of Yosemite without the price tag and driving nearly a 1000 kms is enough for ones peace of mind.

The temperature seemed rather hot here - I think it was - but we had become used to the cooler climate of the high 'plateau' of Utah and Arizona states. Inland California is actually desert - you would not think it on the coast but the inland landscape is rather bland with agriculture for dry hot crop ...

... reason why today was so different. Bertha hadn't been stalking us so far but right now, she's right outside pushing her face against the window! It was so difficult to eat with her making a creepy smile at me! After Pakou and I were done eating, we paid and rushed out separately to lose Bertha and met at a different stop so Bertha can't follow us. We were able to lose her but I know that she's going to show up ...
