Our trip is coming to an end. We arrived at our last stop - Henderson State Park in Destin, Fl. around noon. Weather is threatening but not too bad. We walked the beach which has a red flag flying due to high surf and undertow. The water is so warm, it would have been fun going for a swim. Oh well. We hope to see the sun rise over the Gulf in the morning, then we'll be on the home stretch - 488 miles to Palm Harbor.
We arrived late Friday night the staff was friendly and helpful they allowed me to park my travel trailer with the assistance of their staff. The facilities were clean the bathrooms were amazingly clean. All around great trip camping on the beach. ...
