Christi is the daughter of my friend Sue Fernstrom, whom I know from my Nutrition Journal Club at home. She asked Christi if I could stay here on my way west, and Christi -- despite undergoing chemo for breast cancer (!!) -- said "sure."

    ... it looks kind of like the tubes you float in when your in a pool except it is covered at the bottom) and give it to a guy that hooks it into this thing that pulls you up a the hill, kind of like a ski lift. When you get to the top you have to quickly unload and choose which hill you want to slide down.     ... teases me that when I cook it takes too long and I make too much of a mess. I think tonight he didn't mind. Dessert was store bought shortcakes with strawberries.

    Lysa and I turned in early. The guys stayed up watching a science program about the Big Bang and Andy blogged.
