About 10 minutes into the 1h30 drive back to Denver we ran into standstill traffic. This…. It eventually passed but adding 1 hour to the journey. Absolutely pointless waste of time and yet another day of me sat driving a car for over 7 hours. I’ve completely had enough now of driving for a bit and I just want rid of this sack of **** car. ... with a store worker. He apparently took off into an apartment complex, one that is well known for gangbangers and drug users. We sat at the back of the complex to see if he would come out, but unfortunately he was not found. However, inside the complex some police found someone they had been looking for, so we went around and inside to provide some support. At this point there was around 6 cops here, a nice little force. I believe someone had been hit ...

      Costa Rican Likes & Dislikes

A travel blog entry by millhousers on Apr 14, 2013

... I've already said this once, but I really love the Costa Rican people, especially for how kid-friendly they were. Another example; we were staying at a place that served buffet-style meals. One of the servers knew Ivy has a restricted diet, and she went out of her way to make sure (without me asking), that Ivy had appropriate food to eat. Strangers, men and women alike, treated our children lovingly. They ...
