Wonderful people, very helpful and friendly. And the BEST hotel breakfast we've had anywhere! Very clean. Very nice. Front desk even had a bag of treats for each dog.

Left West Monroe by 11am. Arrived in Broussard about 3:30pm with two dog stops including one in Opelousas for a fish sandwiches from Burger King for a late lunch. It was raining but we found the La Quinta easily. They let us check in a little early and gave us treat bags for the dogs!

Early start today as we had a long drive ahead (625 km's). We skipped breakfast & drove East on I 10 hoping to navigate Houston outside of rush hour! First stop was Sealy & Tony's Family Restaurant for breakfast. Martin must have been feeling bold today because without hesitation, he ordered Grits & eggs for breakfast.....how I laughed when our food arrived! 3 eggs, 6 bacon, ...

Today was out camp birthday! It was nobody's actual birthday but any excuse for a party right? On the way to camp we stopped off in a small town to shop at Goodwill (second hand shop). Our task was to cloth another person in under $10..... Accessorise were key. These outfits were going to be what we would wear on ...
