Wonderful people, very helpful and friendly. And the BEST hotel breakfast we've had anywhere! Very clean. Very nice. Front desk even had a bag of treats for each dog.

Today was great. Woke up to heavy fog in San Antonio. Lasted till we hit Houston. Then sunshine and 70 degrees. Headed to Port Arthur and saw all the oil refineries. We have to now think of what to pack for our next trip... winter in Germany, and we think warmer in Dubai and ...

I must be retired because I'm having trouble with what day it is. On Friday, the 7th, Tree needed to get a touch up on her hair, so I dropped her off and went into downtown Lafayette. Not a whole lot happening there but I got a good walk in.

I picked up Theresa and we headed out to Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic site, which I give three thumbs up. The site was lite on ...
