... s birthplace in Hodgenville, Kentucky, before heading on to Mammoth Caves. Mammoth Caves has the distinction of being the longest cave system in the world, with over 400 miles of documented tunnels. We did 2 miles of them. It was pretty impressive.
On to St. Louis, MO tomorrow. It is a 6 hour drive but it is supposed to rain tomorrow, so we will see how far we decide to go!

I did get to sit in one of the display cars, which will probably be the only time i'm ever behind the wheel of a Corvette.
Getting back into my Ford Escape after finishing the tour was actually kind of depressing and I couldn't help pretend i was driving a Corvette for the first few miles... I dont think it was quite the same experience.
