... moms sat out, worried that they'd be soaked for the rest of the day. The ride was fun, better than the one at Animal Kingdom, though that's not saying much. We didn't get super soaked, aside from one swell that hit me at the bottom of a hill. My left pant leg was soaked for half the day.

After spending some time in the woodsy area, we headed to Paradise Pier. This area was my favorite, designed like an old turn-of-the-century amusement park pier. We got fastpasses for ...

... our trip so we went back to the hotel early around 3pm. Day 3 We went to Disneyland early again. On the way we had breakfast at a place called Denny's. I thought I would have a small breakfast, but I got a giant breakfast the plate was full to the top and then I got a plate of pan cakes as well. I didn't really want that all. When we got to Disneyland we went straight to the Indiana Jones ride and did it twice while it was quiet. That ride ...

The Sunset Suites Apartment (like most of LA) was not quite ready for us when we hauled our luggage up in two shifts in the ancient elevator. But the manager was accommodating and invited us to leave our luggage behind. It was 8.30 am and we were running on one hour's sleep....and despite our best pleading efforts our room wouldn't be ready till at least midday. Of course, with an entire city to explore why not start with a breakfast ...
