... RV! We both find it sad for us older folks who can remember this segment of history; however, the present day younger set may never hear, nor know, of the Chisholm Trail. Our initial learning of the Trail came from the old black & white TV shows back in the ‘60’s, and these are now stored away in Hollywood archival film cans—Rawhide, Maverick, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Laramie, and of course… the Wild, Wild West. Well, we're finally here!! Landed in Dallas this afternoon after a stop over in LA. Took us about 4 hours to sort out the rental car pick up, and our new phones. Terry said he wasn't going to put in long days but here it is ...
... I took pictures. The first set of pictures is getting to Wylie, TX and some sites around Wylie, you can see the steam coming off that lake.
I will get some pictures loaded and get them sent and I probably won't write until we hit the road again.
PS, I forgot to add we are staying in the same park we were in one and a half years ago.
So, until later,
