We are just beginning to pack and prepare for the trip. We've been talking about it for so long, and now it's just days away. I can't believe it is finally here! We have lots to get ready, but soon we'll be on our way, with literally nothing more than the clothes on our backs. The thought is so freeing.

We began our lunch with a half-pound of Gulf shrimp. It had some sort of Caribbean sauce in which it had been marinated and cooked. It was served with melted butter and regular cocktail sauce. It was the best tasting shrimp I have ever ...
