    ... have found everything reliable - until now. Our two day finalé on Daytona Beach just went horribly wrong. The giant beach front complex that boasted balcony views was nothing like the picture they stole off the internet and posted on their webpage. It took us a while to find the room - but not to worry - a random lady was there to help us and show us to our quarters.     After a final walk around Key West to some of the famous tourist spots - Hemingway's house, end of Hwy A1A, and a picture at the Southern Most point in the continental US (just 90 miles to Cuba), we hit the road north. A stop at Biscayne Bay NP was a nice stop, and again we seemed to have the park to ourselves.     ... way back to our hotel. We had dinner and drinks and The Smoking Tuna and listen to some great live music. They have a web cam always on the stage, so if you want a little taste of Key West, Google Smoking Tuna and enjoy a little of Key West.     ... but that's never been a
    problem......till now!!! Apparently it's spring break in South Carolina!!! Who knew? They were booked. Damn. Had a nice chat with the fellow at the gate and he managed to find us a spot for 1 night. :) Got the camper set up, managed fine with the bent jack, changed the
    bedding, a nightcap and off to bed.............with the ac on. It's summer!!!!

    ... Speedway for one plus you can drive your car on the beach! going to take the Red Rocket topless on the beach baby! I had checked out the local area before we headed out and found an outdoor outlet mall that was super close and that had had an Oakley store!! ... I found a great deal on a new pair of sunglasses and even get a free pair of spare lenses. I guess if I lose these i can always tape the spare ones to my face!! ...
