I think we stayed at the La Quinta at 6560 Surrey St. Wherever we were, the hotel was nice, and the food was decent!

... lasted a minute at most, was great and gave us a good view of Fremont Street. One of the groups in front of us were from one of the male strip shows doing a publicity shot, as you can imagine, they had no problem in exposing their physique to the rest of the line! Realising Cathy wouldn't get her much wanted steak in Fremont St, we headed back to the Palazzo in search of fine dining and expensive wine! We had the most magnificent meal and it was worth ...
... away so we thought "what the hell". I looked up and phoned an RV site, and the travel gods smiled on us.
All booked up we headed down the 93 in the rapidly failing light. The desert at sunset is vivid and beautiful even though it's still hot and bloody windy. Driving a 25 x 10 x 12 ft RV through it is like sailing a cardboard box!

It was quite funny to compare us betting with $2 or so at a time next to another couple who were betting ...

There is nothing quite like Vegas, a crazy place to visit! We returned to the bus at 11.30pm and prepared for our final night drive. With beds set out and bags in the hold, beds were soon claimed and said our goodbyes to those who are leaving us in LA. We found a bed, laid out and soon fell ...
Here we are in the middle of the Nevada desert, in what some may think amazing, but personally I hate the glitz. Paul thinks I'm a party pooper but I don't cope with 105 degrees and not much cooler when the sun went down!
But the whole scene is worth seeing and be able to say "yeah been there done that!"
I would have loved to go to see Celine Dion who is ...
