We started by having lunch with Vikas and Anjali's friend's in St Simon Island at the Tup Tim Thai restaurant. I haven't had such good thai food in a while. While waiting for everyone to arrive, Vikas and I strolled into a local beer shop where they brew their own beer and also we can buy draft beer in Growlers(portable beer bottles).
Then we headed to the Beach ...
... good for them to snack on. However, a horse wandered into the site late in the middle of the night and hung around for a while. He pushed his way through the brush smelling around for some food. That was pretty nuts.
In the morning we woke up early for a swim in the ocean and another freezing shower. We boarded the ferry back to Georgia and are currently driving to St. George Island in Florida.
... could have spent an entire day roaming around the grounds, but our time was running short so we cruised back to downtown Savannah to take a look at some of the amazing historic homes lining her streets. Its hard to decide which is the more beautiful city, Charleston or Savannah. We walked down to the riverfront and checked out a few shops and got some delicious praline ice cream before heading out of town. We will definitely be back ...

While we were in Jacksonville, we met several great folks in and around the marina. In fact, Ortega Landing had quite a social calendar for their slip holders and guests, so we enjoyed a pot luck dinner one evening and luau another while there. We spent the next few days in Brunswick, Georgia with our new friends Kevin and Lora. The two Kevin's decided to attack BBB’s leaky pipe – only a couple of hours they said – I went to the swimming pool (as you do) – the weather was glorious.
