      More Mineral Wells

... the water and the more she drank, the better she became. During those years, Mineral Wells became a destination for people much like Hot Springs, AR. There is also a very large hotel (currently only a shell), the Baker. It dominates the scenery. After drinking of the water, we drove through Cool and Millsap, TX. Both of these towns are like "Don't blink" towns. By the time we arrived back on I-20, it was getting close to lunch time and we had decided to eat at Natty ...

The travel has been good so far. Texas roads are a bit worse than Louisiana but traveling through Dallas is not for a novice especially in motorhome.

Looking forward to New Mexico. The planned stop is a town called Santa Rosa.

Sad day - We departed. The Angels headed East 400+ miles and the children headed south for their 700 mile journey back home to south Texas. Wendi and I went to the Carlsbad Caverns first thing this morning. Park opens at 8am and we took the first elevator down the 750ft cavern. Words and the couple photos that turned out just don't do it justice. We hadn't been there since we were very little. We walked one cavern, which was a ...

... of the season has been a bit more rough than in years past, I think we were all grateful for a couple of days off.

Today was all about relaxing...I slept in, had breakfast, hung out with friends, enjoyed the sunshine, and attempted to take a Zumba class on the lot. Haha. I don't have the coordination I used to, so I looked pretty silly but it was a good workout nonetheless. John cleaned the house and made sure I was well taken care of the ...
