... sauce over a ton of cheese and meat! We walked back to the hotel after that even though our feet and our bellies were sore and fell right asleep in our luxurious king sized bed! Before falling asleep we both agreed that we have become a little less hip now that we are married...it was only 10pm! Tomorrow we must get the windshield fixed and then its back to being tourists on the streets of Chicago! Pictures to be added later!!
... that was pretty sweet to learn about at 5am. Chicago was easily one of my favourite places so far, along with Montreal, Phillie and New York. 48 was not long enough to see everything, but long enough to completely fall in love with the place. I am learning so so much every day and am super excited to share all of my crazy stories with my family and friends whenever I return home. Chi town I will be back! Goodbye Chicago and ello Vancouver !
A late start with a walk almost down to Millennium Park before jumping on the bus for go a couple of stops. Both Saturday and Sunday saw major road closures - Saturday for the Memorial. Day parade and Sunday for a huge push bike ride around the foreshore area. These road closures made it difficult for everyone including bus drivers whose routes were changing constantly. I will be doing a lot of exploring and hopefully traveling to other countries in my 4 months abroad so I will be doing my best to update this blog regularly. Hopefully this will keep everyone in the loop about what I am up to.

... science, it's fantastic, took a tour of the main sites in a minibus to keep dry, checked-out Navy Pier and the Smith Museum of stained glass and saw the Chicago symphony perform Mozarts last piano concerto and Bruckner's Symphony no.4. The performance was fantastic and what's more impressive was Bernard Haitink conducting the orchestra at the age of 85.
