The Michaelangelo is very comfortable and helps us recover from our experiences at the hands of Mr Grimaldi and also from the disappointing ride up from Puglia. Got bored with stripping paint off doors and mending roofs and painting furniture and the rain decided to go to beach for a holiday while forcast is good. Took bikes. Festival for Saint Rocco in Lanciano

... that it's actually 2 churches dating back to the 13th century. Inside S. Rocco, there was a table full of wax molds of peoples body part. Apparently, these are area experiencing illness that people want healed. It was a little eerie.

Well, enough excitement for one night! I pop up the rest of our popcorn (the old fashion way), play some Rummicube, and get packed for our long travel day tomorrow.
