    ... later, we'd explored every park, sit-upon ride thingy, and smelled every flower (they were gorgeous) to finally arrive at the museum. Each ticket was printed with a particular sport and funnily enough they were so highly appropriate!

    Tony got the C-1 paddler, Talia the gymnast, I got the figure skater (perhaps a nod to my dance background..waaaaay back) and Avaia - got the high jumper, BUT if you turned it upside down, it looked like the monkey climbing ...

    ... but not the Eiger, hidden in the clouds. Still some snow at the top, and fantastic views of several glaciers. Spectacularly clear at times. Good walk around and lots of photos before going down to Murren for lunch. Then reversed the sequence to get back to Laupen and walked up the hill to Bosingen.     Happy 36th Anniversary to us! We set off for Switzerland, planning not to meet up, but Sara and Andrew pulled in where we had stopped for morning tea. Skirted Turin, then the spectacular drive up to the Grand St Bernard Tunnel. The entrance is at 1875 metres high, rising through the tunnel to 1918 metres.
