Later in the afternoon, after a brief rain shower, I did some exploring east of the main plaza. I didn't go far before I realized this was a part of town that I really don't know at all. I explored the waterfront in several places and saw floating houses where the poorest people live in homes that rise and fall with the high- and low-water seasons.
