champagne prior to taking off. We were served a nice meal and then
it was off to sleep for a few hours, to pass the time of the 7 hour
flight. Sandy slept pretty well, but as usual, I struggled to get

We arrived in St. Malo and headed off to Dinan, our stop for the next
two nights. After a 45 minute drive we arrived in Dinan and although
our GPS was zeroed in on the hotel, we struggled to find it. The

The fast ferries on Condor are HUGE catamarans! And I went and stood outside while we were moving and I couldn't stand the chill with the wind. Which is impressive because I have the skin of a polar bear.

After several months of research, planning and saving the pennies, my Ski Instructor course took a big step closer today. I decided for definate on the dates of my course by confirming my flights. St. Peter Port in Guernsey, Channel Islands was an interesting mix of British and French culture. Street names, architecture, and language are a blend of influences. We toured the main Anglican church and saw with marble statues and tombstones written in French. There was a small street market filled with handcrafted jewelry and pottery, and British pubs that promised to bar patrons who were too rowdy during football games.
