... your car, you bet your house! They loved it anyway! Also in this class they were learning about describing people, how they look and their features. Part of it was to draw a "mug shot" of a person. So I got all of them to draw me! Step by step, so each student would describe one of my features, then they'd all have to draw it in their books. I had big ears and a big nose according to the kids describing me! Plus, much to my horror *Teacher JR's hair's a mess"! Confidence ...

... we got back to the apartment, a good way to celebrate if I do say so myself!
So Tuesday became the "new first day!" I already have decided I quite like the way my lessons work out, by being in the evening each time, I can stroll over to branch just after lunch at around 1:30, sit down at my own desk with all of my stuff there, and plan the lessons I'm due to teach that evening! So essentially I can leave my work at work, which is awesome! Lugging around 20 odd books to ...

I wish I spent a little longer in Kaohsiung because there were a few other things I wanted to do there. However, I was going to Kenting the next day and Kenting is one of my most favourite places ever!

... artifacts from the past, like old instruments, or old ornamental robes, and scrolls and tapestries. Of course the temple was beautifully decorated as well, as all of the temples and old buildings we've seen in Taiwan so far have been, with carved dragons dotted all over the building, and giant Chinese characters written in various positions, obviously symbolizing, important messages.
After that, just opposite the temple across the road was a very smart looking market street. ...

... was only in Tainan for one night but I wish I could have stayed a little bit longer to explore central Tainan and not just Anping. Tainan is also famous for having some of the best and most unique food in Taiwan so it would have been nice to experience more of that whilst I was there. If you go to Tainan maybe stay for two or three nights to fully experience what the city has to offer!
