    ... office to find out about accommodation in the hope of getting a kitchen to cook for ourselves tonight. Think we are jinxed. We arrive in places we need to get info on Sunday - everything is closed. Today is Monday and they are closed! Arrgghh! Local drew a map that left us confused - his English is as good as our Spanish but he made a great effort. In the end........Google works it all out for you!

    Found someone there who speaks English to call the hotel we are going to stay at who was due to pick us up and they said 1/2 hour. In the meantime two of the French turn up and will share (it's free anyway), but it turns out to be over an hour while we kick stones on the edge of the road because the guy got no one for the tour so he kicked everyone out the gate and locked it.     ... buddy took pic you'll never see - my butt looks wider than the rest of my body - but I went up and then we walked the wall until it ran out and meant we had to climb down and then back up for the next section. Stuff that there's a bar down there! The stairs we came down were walled either side so chicken licken could hang on but they were still deep and while several hundred years of use and at least a million feet having trampled them they continue to function.     ... cliff edges of the reservoir. Well that goat track is about 7km and goes down a gully, up the side, down a gully, up the side over and over and over and over. The road is relatively flat. The goat track wins!

    And it won on many counts, it is a track less travelled, provides views high over the reservoir, added floors to the Fitbit count, provided a delight of wildflowers, mobile poos and some monster snails. But it was a tough 7km - nearly 2 hours! It ...

    ... in to it. it seemed quite a pleasant country town, but we noiced a lot of closed up businesses and premises for sale.
