... half way. Yay more coffee and churros! Love true Spanish churros here they don't out sugar on them. And while the walk is gentle we still got over 100 flights of stairs on our Fitbits! The village had a number of tile signs around town, all in Latin! Just before hitting the bitumen I had to do a shuffle dance to avoid standing on the cutest damned tree frog that jumped right into my foot path! Hit the bitumen a couple of kms out of town and swap ...

We had to revise our plans again (still associated with that closed Albergue) but we can walk a little further tomorrow and get back on track to good distances each day. ... Hedley drops downstairs to see by any small glimmer of a chance a cafe is open early for coffee. Locked in! Holy **** we have a taxi booked and can't get out! Try the fire escape - that is also locked. Scary a bit? Rustle a little bit as we are going to have to wake the owners up to let us out. Ring the bell - can hear throughout the building - holy **** sorry for waking you folks - the lady comes straight away - she's already up! Buzzes and let's us out. Phew! Now ...

... to the Finca. This is the land where Marilyn and Pip's daughter lives with her husband, 3 horses, 3 dogs and 8 cats. Camping in a gazebo and caravan, growing vegies, riding, slowly getting the place into shape before modernising the barn/stables and adding living accommodation. We asked Clare's help, with her better Spanish, to try to contact a garage in Madrid, but still no ...
