... see Miami. Of course we got lost because Miami has lots of bridges! So we saw the poorer areas but also ended up on a beautiful quiet beach.

It was a quick stop in Miami but certainly a nice way to start the holiday!

      Top 3 things:
      - Sunrise over South Beach with the seagulls
      - The gallery of Peter Lik:
      - The motorride we did on an old scooter which allowed us to see more of the city.

      Next stop Costa Rica!

That moment we had been waiting for had finally arrived. With our homemade sign held high, Allison and Adriaan, our lifelong friends ran through the arrival gates at Miami International Airport. It was a special moment. I gave Allison the biggest hug. There are many airboat operators which gets a bit confusing on how to choose one, but after Gav had done some Tripadvisor research, we make contact with one to see what our options are for today. There's one at 2pm but we are told the best way to get out there is to hire a rental car! Seeing as we had ...

... Melbourne. We stopped for some lunch at one of the roadside beach access parks and enjoyed some lovely views of the ocean. We passed through some more unspoiled Florida coastline on our way Fort Pierce and Vero Beach. We had to go inland for a little while around Jupiter and Juno Beach. It was back to the coast when we reached the Palm Beach area and we were amazed at the houses that we saw. Gorgeous, huge mansions right on ...

... have a private screen so you won't miss any of the action whilst having a private dinner with the Mrs. I like their style. A few drinks to wait for most of the crowd to disperse and we jumped straight in a cab to make our way back to our apartment. 12pm again and it's time for bed. Initial analysis has us thinking this is a beautiful city for beautiful people (who may have thumbs up their *****) will further investigate for y'all ...
