    ... local landscape architect, the plants, interspersed with a few well chosen sculptures, are laid out 'naturally', along curving paths. It is a lovely, calm and peaceful space; a number of locals were taking advantage, reading, watching babies or just hanging out.

    ... on the beach under a life guard look out station taking shelter from the rain before returning to the hostel to get freshened up ready for a few beers out on the strip. That evening we went to a bar called Mango´s.     ... but it killed the whole day as I probably walked about another 15km in my refusal to go on an open top tour bus. There were some dudes playing dominoes and that was about it. No Spicey Bob’s – Disappointing! Had a couple of beers with Diego in the evening sitting out on a bench viewing the skyline which was pretty cool before retreating back to his air conditioned haven to try and plan my ultimately pointless trip out the Florida Key’s.

Once in South Beach - one of the main beaches on Miami Beach - Flix and myself along with the guy from Brazil (who we think is called Fernando) went for a walk along the beach and got some dinner.
