His own herd of puppies.

A travel blog entry by roadtrip2010

I can segue directly into accommodation disappointments with our next night's lodgings. We decided to forge on ahead and get all the way to Guerrero Negro where I knew there to be a Dessert Inn. The drive was through the 'mountains’ and the road was not very busy. The Desert Inn is north of town so very easy to find. They had vacancy so we …

Today we travelled 5 hours over very narrow stretches of road with many sections of guardrail that had been smashed through by some vehicle probably travelling too fast on these ...

De famous boulder field

A travel blog entry by cabobound

Midway thru the Baja is one of my favorite and most unusual parts of the trip known as the boulder field. About 40 miles of huge rock outcroppings with the road widening thru it. It enters a huge field of giant cactus that extends for miles. A few cars and trucks along the way but otherwise no scene of humans or wildlife for maybe 150 miles. No gas either. Just a few lonely Mexicans selling in barrels. Fortunately our tank had a long way to ...
