    Woke to best news that Nicky and Matt have full guardianship of the girls. So happy for them. And then a Skype call came through from them. Thrilled to be here and able to talk. They are 10 hours ahead of us so able to talk with the girls before they went to bed. Day is full of sunshine. Not sure yet of temp but Google last night said 22.     I went into the Mephisto store after spending a great deal of time looking at the window display. I tried on a pair of shoes and actually bought them. The lady was very nice and even walked me back to the front of the store after I'd paid to open the door for me. I feel guilty about buying the shoes, but I guess this will be my one extravagant purchase on this trip.
