Only recently my parents visited an when they left , went through all scanners and checks with bottles of liquids, oils, drinks etc. And as recent as Tuesday, it is still as bad , my ex- wife visiting, went through with 3 bottles of perfume in her hand luggage, and 4 lighters !! None were spotted or checked. Even after 'increased security', after the Russian air disaster. At their departure airport ( manchester) all liquids & pastes over 100ml have to ...

Had a lovely week or so back at the Hilton Sharks bay. No cooking cleaning, or school work for Ewan ( half term after all ). Ews mum seemed to enjoy her visit, & ewan loved 'showing off' all he'd learnt ..... , and all the places he!s been ,.....he seems so adapted here ...... I Even leave him to haggle with the taxis these days !! Lol. ... they all made. Despite the heat there are still big puddles about ( no drains here ! ). Been on a quad bike safari in the desert & Sinai mountains this morning, great fun but vert dusty. ... travels that we have been pickpocketed! We noticed right after it happened in the Aswan souk but it was too late. The little ******* made off with $20. It could have been much worse, but man was he good. He had mad pickpocketing skills.
