Last but not least, always remember that you can smartly book your room with a great sea view, especially if you booked on a top floor room. So always make sure to check this out before you book your room!

If you're not a sea fan, you can still enjoy swimming in pools, as Sharm El-Sheikh's hotels have a plenty of pools with different sizes to choose ...

The reason I love Sharm el-Sheikh so much is it's a holiday mecca! The place - a gorgeous sea view beach setting - has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. From clubbing to quading in the desert, diving to fine food, this place has everything for an enjoyable ...

This is where the international "Peace in the Middle East" conferences have been held. We weren't impressed though. It’s essentially a tourist resort – lots of hotels (some with tacky statues of dinosaurs, sphinxes, Egyptian gods etc), souvenir shops, cafes and bars. Its other ...

... heart set on an English pub, The Tavern, that is located near Na'ama Centre.

There is no denying that Sharm el Sheikh is a beautiful resort town and I understand why people flock here. It is a very popular honeymoon spot for Egyptians even. The diving and snorkeling is supposed to be among the best in the world. But we are glad that we opted to stay in Dahab instead (also great diving and snorkeling). Sharm el Sheikh is very commercialized and everything ...
