... which was good. Our car doesn't seem to have too much get-up-and-go, and Eldon doesn't like passing without some zip.

We are in a lovely hotel. We are not very close to the town center; we are about 300 steep feet down to the water. We got checked in and set out to see the town. We stopped for a beer overlooking the Mediterranean; it was ...

    Day 42 - Bari Italy

... Adriatic coast, located soth-east of the regions river mouth. We caught the MSC shuttle bus to the city and explored the shops. We did not realise majority of the shops close between lunch and 5pm. They then reopen for the night. We have ...

... ladies, who while they didn't speak English, did very well at communicating with us. It's pretty amazing what can be accomplished with hand gestures and a few words. I filled out a form they had for me in English, and then they copied what I wrote in the spaces from the English form to the Italian form so they could read it. Luckily things had started to move forward, and I've also heard back from my own bank where a formal investigation has been launched. Things are ...

    Massages, Swimming & Bank Issues

... the director. He told me I needed to go to the bank that owned the ATM and stuck me in a van with one of the welcome staff to take me there.

The bank was in another town completely, Tortoli, and unfortunately the guy who was driving me there didn't know where it was. If you've never been to Italy I can assure you that the roads are not always clear and it's pretty confusing. He stopped to ask for directions a few times and eventually ...
