Well that would of had to have been my longest trip to ever reach our first holiday destination in Italy. After a long flight (flying; which I equate to giving birth ie months of preparations, much planning ahead, anticipation, discomfort, tiredness, aches and pains and the end result pure delight and elation) we arrive in Milano!

... we had a lake cruise waiting.
There were huge crowds about celebrating a major religious festival of some sort and we fought our way through the throng to board a little boat which took us along both sides of the lake to look at all the villas and famous landmarks.
