... fill with sea water and it became a more diluted, salty version! We could have stayed floating around out there for so much longer, but they made us get back onto the boat. :( We stopped at one more island before heading home, it had kind of clouded over, which we didn't mind at all because we'd had a lot of sun that day. (Everyone has a hint of lobster as well - I wasn't the only one! The one guy asked me to spray his back with sunscreen. I did 3 passes ...

... itself gave me the impression that Ross from Friends was at it with the wooden spoons again. We decided a relaxing trip to the mud baths should do the trick though! Except that on arrival, we were frog marched into a mud bath already filled with a big Vietnamese family. We squeezed in and tried to pretend we didn't notice the 10 faces oggling at us. It was so much fun and now I think I need to have a go on Lake Windermere when we get home. Unfortunately windsurfing has one major flaw - sunburn! It would seem falling in and out of water attracts the sun and repels the sun cream. After wind surfing we tried our hand at sailing. We went out on a ...

I've spent the final days of my trip at the "popular beach resort" of Nha Trang. It's pretty idyllic to look at: long white beaches run hug the bay between clear emerald water and lush green mountains. In the mornings, fisherman pull little round boats ashore while children play in the surf.

What the Lonely Planet fails to mention is that Nha Trang is a very popular destination for Russians; think of it like the Russian version of Majorca. All the ...

    Cham towers and colourful fish

... a rather disappointing lunch (are there no decent chicken sandwiches in Vietnam?!) we headed south along the beach front to the Oceanographic centre. This was a great place to visit and a fun afternoon was spent oggling tanks of live reef sharks, stingrays, seals, sea turtles and many different types of fish and coral, plus a whale skeleton.
It got a bit creepy once we reached the more researchy-side of the site, where row upon row of preserved ...
