Mud baths, sleeper trains, cockroaches

... all had beer and wine so found it easy to stay awake all night...we all crammed into our room- there was four on each tiny bunk- we had recruited two ozzie men from the cabin next door to squash bugs with flip flops. Went to bed at about 3 and had an hours sleep until our train got in! We were told we wouldn't have our rooms in hotel until 10- but luckily we got them when we arrived!! I'll carry on the rest in the next section...!<br>

I didn't mind that she wanted to Skype me all of her free time, but I had to lie about going to work, I couldn't take more than three hours a day.<br ...

I'm on another boat with my flippie floppies

... After finally finding a hotel, we set off for a day at the beach. In the afternoon, we decided to walk across the city (it was brutally hot, so the streets were deserted) to a photography gallery that Sean had read about. Unfortunately, he didn't think to read about their hours, and they are closed on Sundays. So we walked back. The highlight of the excursion, however, was that we found a hole-in-the-wall vegetarian restaurant that serves ...

... louts from England which have invaded Thailand. Mostly Vietnamese families and couples keeping themselves to themselves and doing no harm to anybody. Met up with a couple of Kiwis who I traveled with in Laos, so we swapped stories and places to go to where we'd respectively come from. Got a little routine going which involves nothing more than eating, sleeping, drinking, reading, relaxing. Quite nice. So not much else to report other ...

There's plenty of beggars, one old woman just reaching out making ome sort of noise. You feel bad not giving them anything, especially the kids, but I certainly can't afford ...
