With 5 nights left in our trip we are definitely in the home stretch. We couldn't be happier to finally be in Rome. We got into town a little past noon, making our way to our place we got a little taste of Roman life. Even though we only had a half day, it was very eventful.

All this was done by 1200 where we hopped on our coach and began another six hour drive to Venice. Oh and tip of the day - when you are going into an important place like the Vatican always be sure your batteries are fully charged on all cameras as that you have plenty of memory on your photo card (or that the spare ones are not sitting on the bus) - just a thought ...
We are off to the "Eternal City" of Rome today. Everyone seems really excited and I believe this may be the one and only time we have actually left on time!
