... us rock about, but it was in fact one of the more peaceful anchorages we've slept in.

The water was warm enough to swim in, although the current was strong and we found ourselves swimming against it and not moving an inch forwards in comparison to the boat. Nervous about being able to swim strongly enough to get out of trouble, I kept my swim short, but it was a very relaxing way to spend the afternoon even so.

Kind of a lazy day, after recovering from last night's Bob Dylan concert. We started out with a walking tour of Sao Bras de Alportel, a town that has nothing to do with an airport hotel which was my first thought. The strangest thing we saw there were the pictures of cute dogs pasted onto the white walls! Many examples of the typical Portuguese tiles, both old and new.
