12/11 more maintenance and we got a sailmaker to come onboard to check the rigging and sails, the main needs a little work so we removed that and took it to his sail loft for repair, we made 2 trips into the supermarket to stock up

... October) Form there a boat to Iquitos, and then Ecuador, maybe Galapagos Islands, and travel down through Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, and stopping again in Sao Paulo for Christmas for about a week. After that take about two month (January and February) to go down thorugh Argentina to Usuahia, allways stopping in various places, and up through Chile to Santiago, where my next flight to New Zealand departs.
Obviously that's just a plan, and it will probably change ...

The main commercial area has been pedestrianized so it was very pleasant roaming around the numerous tourist shops selling volcanic inspired jewellery or gorgeous silk handbags.
