In the longest day's ride so far of 245 miles, we decisively crossed the Ebro at Mora repelling the Falange and fascist forces and atoning for the Republic's last failure in their late '38 offensive.  Left Girona on the superb A7 autoroute for 140 miles to south of Tarragonna then rose up onto the high Aragon plains on great, smooth fast-cornered roads. Went to the beach to sort out lunch. All you mariners that think the mediterranean is a pond don't be fooled by that image. The sea wall outside the port is 9 Metres high.......and that must be for a reason. Judge by one of the pictures! Going up the hills slightly to a free spot tonight as I like the smaller ...

... After that I bypassed Tarragona and drove for 2 hours down to a commercial park. However for €10 you get electricity and WiFi included. A good few of the campers look like they stay for a good bit of the Summer, again from France, Germany etc.
A word about the roads....they are fantastic. I have excluded toll roads now from the satnav but the ordinary road is dual carriageway in several parts. The trucks are using it a lot too so expect ...
