    ... emotional with everyone cheering and singing. We had over 100 visiting boats to Rochefort celebrating until the early hours and when the Hermione went down the Charente there was lots of noise and cheering as well over 100 boats left the port following her down the river.     La Rochelle to river Charente August 23rd Rather a late get up after previous night of wine drinking.... Slowly got Sega ready to move into the Charente river, the weather forecast was no good to go the beach at Ile De Re or anchor at Ile D'Aix so we had a super sail all the way to our anchorage at the beginning of the river.
